Dr Hee Soo Yin

Built from twenty years inside law, regulation, education and policy.

Executive and team coach for senior leaders working at the points where strategy meets the system around them. Master Certified Coach with the ICF, and doctoral research at Durham University in leadership learning, sense-making, agency and professional identity development.

The work isn’t the strategy. It’s the system around it.

Soo Yin coaches senior leaders and their teams. The work, in her own framing, is to enhance their performance, growth and impact — partnering with leaders to develop self-awareness, other-awareness, and the capacity to see, think and act systemically.

Underneath the coaching is systemic leadership and team coaching, diagnostic tools she reaches for selectively (Birkman Method, My Worldview, Team Connect 360), and twenty years inside the institutions where the decisions get made — first in legal practice and regulatory compliance, then in leadership development and policy work, including the development of Singapore’s Continuing Education and Training ecosystem.

What she’s taking on now

Three forms of senior practice.

Soo Yin is taking on team coaching engagements. She mentors coaches working toward the ICF Master Certified Coach credential. And she’s currently in coaching supervision training — the discipline of supporting other coaches’ reflective practice.

Team coaching engagements. Mentor coaching toward MCC. Coaching supervision in training.
